Wall Plugs are used with screws as a fixing solution for a range of applications in both the commercial and domestic building industry, including for a range of home improvement and do-it-yourself (DIY) projects such as, the hanging of framed pictures, shelves and other wall mounted displays. These cost-effective plugs are an easy to use fixing with a simple, push-fit design that are typically used for dry lining. They are able to support light weights and are ideally used with self-drilling, piercing and self-tapping screws. To install a wall plug you will require the use of several tools, including; a drill, a hammer and a screwdriver. Wall plugs cannot be screwed directly into a wall or plasterboard, but instead inserted into a pre-drilled hole. To removed a wall plug, simply use a pair of pliers.
